Coming from the Alton-Darby side of town? The same road, further up. The building is divided into lettered units, so look for the letter on the door rather than a storefront sign. Call the shop if you need directing to the entrance.
Every installation is carried out indoors with the doors shut. Dust in the bay becomes dust under the film, permanently — a speck trapped beneath tint cannot be polished out. The only correction is to strip the window and fit it again.

Set it to the shade you want. A red readout is below Ohio’s limit for front side windows, and we do not fit it.

Before you pick a shade
Four things that decide the specification.
- Minivans & third rowsGlass that already looks tinted in the back is dyed glass from the factory, not film. It stops light; it does not stop heat. Ceramic film over it is what cools the third row. Ohio sets no darkness limit behind the front seats, provided the vehicle has both outside mirrors.
- First cars“Darkest legal” on the front side windows is 50% VLT, and that is what goes on. The same limit applies to a first car as to anything else in the bay, and we confirm it with you before the work is done.
- The windshield stripA strip across the top of the windshield is expressly unregulated in Ohio, as long as it stops at the AS-1 line or five inches down — whichever is closer to the top. It is the specification for an eastbound morning commute. Ask for it when you book.
- Work trucks & vansBack glass and rear doors, where tools sit all day and the cab heats through the afternoon. Same film, same bay, same price as any other vehicle.
Hilliard doesn’t have a tint law
There is no Hilliard ordinance and no Franklin County ordinance. Ohio sets one statewide limit, and it reads the same in every town in the state.
Front side windows: at least 50% of the light has to get through, plus or minus 3. Windshield: 70%, plus or minus 3, except that unregulated strip at the top. Rear window and rear sides: any darkness you want, if the car has both outside mirrors. A label with the maker and the light-transmission percentage goes in the lower left of the window, read from outside. We fit it on every car. Never legal: red film, yellow film, or anything reflective or mirrored, on any window.
Ohio has no periodic safety inspection. Nothing checks the film until an officer measures it, at your window.
Hilliard police, the county deputy and the state trooper all enforce the same number with the same meter. There is no garage that catches it first and no sticker that covers it. We put the limit on the screen and confirm it with you before the work is done.

How long it takes
It depends on the glass. A coupe and a Suburban are not the same job, and curved rear glass takes longer than flat. Ask when you book and we will give you the time for your vehicle.
