What you are buying

A wrap is not paint. It is film.

Colored vinyl changes the visible surface of a vehicle without being paint. A full wrap covers the exterior painted panels; a partial wrap changes selected areas such as the roof, hood or trim. The exact coverage and edge treatment belong in the quote.

Vinyl will not repair paint. It does not fill a dent. It does not hide rust, and covering corrosion does not stop it. A deep scratch can read through the film. Existing paint condition, previous repairs and failing clear coat need to be assessed before the vehicle is quoted.

Paint and removal

“Does the wrap damage the paint when it comes off?”

The answer depends on the paint under it. Original, sound paint and repaired or failing paint do not carry the same removal risk. Inspect the vehicle before quoting instead of promising the same outcome for every panel.

“Then why do removals go wrong?”

Previous paintwork, failing clear coat and existing damage can all change the job. Ask for the paint condition and the selected film’s inspection or removal guidance to be documented in the vehicle-specific quote.

What it costs.

We do not publish a wrap price here. A wrap is priced by the vehicle, not by the job. A Cybertruck is not a Civic. Two doors are not four. Deep body lines, aftermarket bumpers, chrome that has to come off first, paint that needs correcting first: those are hours on the film, and the hours are the number. A figure quoted over the phone without the year, make and model is an estimate, not a price.
